The short version: you pay $1, your name goes up until someone else pays, and it stays on the board forever. The longer version is below.
A claim buys two things, delivered instantly: your name, optional line and optional link on the front page until the next paid claim lands, and a permanent row on the board. How long you stay on the front page depends entirely on when the next person pays. It can be days. It can be seconds. That is the game.
By claiming you confirm the name, message and link are yours to post and are not unlawful, misleading or harmful. We may hide any claim that breaks this, without a refund, because the service, the time on the front page and the row on the board, was already delivered.
Payments run through Stripe Checkout. Card details never touch this site. Prices are shown upfront and charged once, there are no subscriptions and no hidden fees.
Because the crown is delivered the moment Stripe confirms the payment, purchases are non-refundable. If a payment goes through and your name never appears, write to [email protected] and we will fix it or refund it.
We store what you type into the claim form: a name, an optional message and an optional link, plus the country and email address Stripe collects at checkout. The name, message, link and country are public, that is the product. The email address is not public and is used for exactly one thing: a single notice when someone takes the crown from you, with a link to take it back. No list, no newsletter, no follow-ups, never shared or sold.
Visitors who never pay are not tracked beyond aggregate analytics. No cookie is set for them. Outbound clicks on claim links are counted per claim, not per visitor. To have your email or claim removed, write to [email protected].
Links and messages are posted by the people who paid for them, not by us. Every outbound click passes through this site first, so a harmful link can be pulled down instantly. Report anything bad to [email protected] and it goes.
